I interviewed RP at the Oriental Hotel when he came down to Singapore recently to give five performances. This was in my capacity as a broadcast journalist for 938 Live. The interview was aired about a week ago, with cuts and edits since the feature was only 10 mins long. I found him to be confident, eloquent, curious and of course, very funny. I went to his last performance here too, and he played to a very, very appreciative audience. Must admit though, I think he's been funnier. Gave him the Coxford Singlish Dictionary to help with all his questions on Singlish. Hopefully we'll hear some Singlish material the next time he comes!
